Eship: Customised hybrid and electric propulsion system
You provide the ship. We handle everything else.
Turnkey retrofit ship electrification solution
With our Eship™ solutions, we help you reach your operational and environmental targets through a turnkey retrofit solution that upgrades your ship for full or partial electric operation in line with your requirements.
Our Eship™ solution is the fast track to ship electrification. We take responsibility for all aspects of your project through four main stages:
Identification, Design, Installation, and Deployment. From shore power to full battery operation, and everything in between, we develop and deliver the solution you need. Examples of ship electrification applications include the following:
Peak shaving using onboard batteries, allowing diesel/HFO engines to run at their optimal duty point
Fully electric, battery-powered propulsion (with optional backup diesel engine)
Shore power installation allowing the vessel to connect to an onshore power supply (OPS)
Power backup/spinning reserve for critical operations (DP, narrows, and harbour manoeuvres) running on batteries instead of diesel.

Customised service solutions
that cover all your service needs

Ferries
Ferries can be fitted with onboard batteries below deck or in A60 deckhouses. Batteries can be charged from onshore charging solutions and/or from the onboard engines or generators. Charging sockets can be fitted to port or starboard, or both, and the power management and automation systems of the ferry are upgraded to enable full or partial electric operation as per your requirements. Charging regimes are defined to suit your operation, for example topping up during short port stays (thereby ensuring regular operation according to the timetable) and carrying out a complete recharge overnight.

Offshore / supply vessels
Offshore/supply vessels can be fitted with onboard batteries below deck or in A60 deckhouses. Batteries can be charged from onshore charging solutions and/or from the onboard engines or generators. Charging sockets can be fitted to port or starboard, or both, and the power management and automation systems of the vessel are upgraded to enable full or partial electric operation as per your requirements.

Tankers
Tankers can be fitted with onboard batteries below deck or in A60 deckhouses. Batteries can be charged from onshore charging solutions and/or from the onboard engines or generators. Charging sockets can be fitted to port or starboard, or both, and the power management and automation systems of the tanker are upgraded to enable full or partial electric operation as per your requirements.

Fishing vessels
Batteries below deck can be charged from onshore charging solutions and/or from the onboard engines or generators. Charging sockets can be fitted to port or starboard, or both, and the power management and automation systems of your fishing vessel are upgraded to enable full or partial electric operation as per your requirements.
